Craig Miller is a second-generation diamond professional with a rare blend of hands-on craft, commercial acumen, and genuine care for his clients. Trained as a diamond cutter in South Africa in the 1990s, he learned how diamonds are shaped, polished, and brought to life long before he stepped into boardrooms and buying offices. That grounding means when Craig assesses a diamond or piece of jewellery today, he understands its true quality from the inside out—not just what’s written on a certificate.​

Since moving to Australia in 1999, Craig has spent more than 25 years immersed in the local diamond and jewellery market. He led one of Australia’s key wholesale diamond businesses for nearly 15 years and later managed diamond buying and brand development for a major national jewellery buying group. Along the way, he built deep relationships across the trade and earned a reputation as someone who combines sharp market insight with a steady, down-to-earth manner.​

Craig’s expertise covers every stage of the diamond pipeline—from cutting factory apprentice to wholesale director, national brand manager, company founder, and now trusted buyer and advisor for private clients. He has valued and purchased thousands of diamonds, gold items, and fine jewellery pieces, including designer names such as Cartier, Tiffany, and Van Cleef & Arpels. Whether working with natural or lab-grown diamonds, he stays at the forefront of industry change so clients receive accurate, up-to-date valuations in a rapidly evolving market.​

Today, as President of the Diamond Dealers Club of Australia and co-founder of Jewelco, Craig uses his experience to protect clients from common pitfalls like inflated retail markups and unfair lowball offers. His approach is simple: clear explanations, open testing, and no-pressure conversations that give people time to think, ask questions, or seek a second opinion. Whether someone is creating a new piece or selling a family heirloom, Craig’s goal is to make them feel informed, respected, and confident about every decision they make.​
